Living as Foreigners

Do you really live like this earth is not your home? Or have you grown too comfortable in a world that has turned away from God?

An ambassador lives in a place that is not their own country. They are sent there to speak and act for the one who sent them. In the same way, believers are sent into this world to speak for God’s kingdom. We are called to urge people to turn from sin and receive a new citizenship in heaven. That means we live here as foreigners. We stay faithful to our mission until our work is done and we return home to Jesus.

Take time to pray and ask yourself: Do I see my life here as temporary, or have I started living like this is my final home? Am I helping others turn to God, or have I become quiet? Does the way I live show that I belong to Jesus?
