The Message of Reconciliation

Is your message about comfort, or is it about repentance?

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be His ambassadors. Our main message is not about gaining things, success, or even living a blessed life. Our first and most important message is this: people need to be brought back to God. That is the heart of our faith.

Before we talk about blessings or prosperity, we must remember something important. We were sinners who needed forgiveness. We needed God’s grace. Everything we believe and share starts there. Being reconciled to God comes first. When we are restored to Him, other blessings can follow. But they are not the main goal.

Take time to pray and think:
1. Have I put being right with God above every other benefit of faith?
2. Do I remember that I am saved by grace before I speak about blessings?
3. Does my life point people back to God, or just toward self-improvement?

Let your message always lead people home to Him.
