How much do you really want to hear the voice of God?

Being heard by God and getting an answer from Him is one of the greatest gifts we can receive, besides eternal life. Think about that. When we call on Him and He responds, there is nothing in this life we cannot face. If God hears us and answers us, we have the help we need to overcome any problem.

One of the deepest desires in our hearts should be to hear the Lord and to know that He answers when we pray. We can never earn this kind of favor. We do not deserve it. Yet God still chooses to listen and speak to us. That is His love and grace, just as Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us.

Ask yourself: Do I really want God’s guidance more than my own ideas? Are there things in my life blocking His voice? Am I willing to let go of my own plans so I can clearly hear Him?
