Do you want God to hear your voice?

The Lord listens to the ones He knows. The people He knows are those who have built a real relationship with Him. This relationship starts by reading and learning His Word and by talking with Him in prayer. If we want to live well in God’s kingdom, we must turn away from our sins, learn what His Word teaches, and grow closer to Him through obedience and prayer. These are the true keys to walking with Jesus each day.

1. Am I building a real relationship with the Lord through repentance, His Word, obedience, and prayer, or do I only call on Him when I need help?
2. Is being heard by God one of my greatest desires, or have other things become more important?
3. What might be stopping me from growing closer to Him?
