Belief That Surrenders

Have you only believed about Jesus, or have you truly placed your life in His hands?

It is not enough to believe that Jesus is the Christ. We must also believe in Him and trust Him with our whole life. True belief means surrender. It means giving Him control instead of holding on to it ourselves.

When we surrender to Jesus, something powerful happens. Rivers of living water begin to flow out of us. His life works through us. Wherever He sends us, His living water brings hope and life to others.

Take time to pray and ask yourself: Have I really surrendered my life to Jesus, or am I still in control? Is His living water flowing from my life? What parts of my life have I not fully placed in His hands?
