How do people who do not believe see Jesus by the way you live?

Being God’s true ambassador means we are sent to represent Jesus and His kingdom, not ourselves. Our words, choices, and actions show others what we believe about God. For many people, the only picture of Jesus they may see is the one shown through us. If we misrepresent Him, they may misunderstand who He truly is. Some have not accepted Jesus as Lord because believers did not reflect His heart and His kingdom in the right way.

When we let go of our old life and fully accept our new life as citizens of God’s kingdom, everything changes. With surrendered hearts, we begin to live in a way that shows His love, truth, and authority. Then others can clearly see Jesus through us.

Ask yourself: Does my life reflect the kingdom I say I belong to? Am I living more like my old self than my new life in Christ? Could the way I have shown Jesus affect someone’s choice to follow Him?
