#blog Title: The Heart of the Father

Question: Have you mistaken God’s patience for wrath because you never truly took time to know Him?

Reflection: While many may think God is a wrathful God, this only points to a lack of a real authentic relationship with Him. For those who took the time in getting to know Him would see the great loving merciful Father He is. Wrath is never His first option; it is the last resort. (Deu 30:19)

Prayer Points:
1. Have I truly pursued a real relationship with God, or have I only formed opinions about Him from a distance?
2. Do I see God primarily through fear of punishment instead of through His mercy and fatherly love?
3. Have I ignored the patience and mercy of God until discipline became necessary in my life?
