16 I have other sheep, too. They are not in this sheepfold here. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The Father loves me because I give my life. I give my life so that I can take it back again. 18 No one takes it from me. I give it myself. I have the power to give it, and I have the power to take it back again. This is what my Father told me to do. 19 Again the Jews did not agree with each other because of these words. 20 Many of them said, “A demon has come into him and made him crazy. Why listen to him?” 21 But others said, “These are not the words of a man with a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of blind people?”
Jesus is the one true Shepherd for all people, not just one group.,He gave His life willingly and also had the power to rise again.,Some people doubted Jesus, but others recognized the truth of His words and miracles.,Jesus unites His sheep into one flock under His care.
