The Attributes of God.
I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name for ever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Great are You, Lord, and most worthy of praise; Your greatness is unsearchable. (Psalm 145:1–3) I rejoice in the knowledge that one day, every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea and all that is in them will sing of You, Almighty King: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power for ever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13)

The Works of God
We know Your grace, O Lord Jesus Christ, that though You were rich, yet for our sakes You became poor, that we, through Your poverty, might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9) You, O Lord, are one God, and there is only one Mediator between You and people, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all—the testimony given in its proper time. (1 Timothy 2:5–6)

My Relationship to God
Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. O Lord, You give, and You take away; Blessed be Your name, O Lord. (Job 1:21) If I wish to come after You, Jesus Christ, I must deny myself and take up my cross and follow You. For if I want to save my life, I will lose it, but if I lose my life for You and for the gospel, I will find it. For what profit will I have if I gain the whole world, yet forfeit my soul? Or what will I give in exchange for my soul? (Matthew 16:24–26; Mark 8:34–37; Luke 9:23–25)
Pause to thank God for the relationship that you enjoy with Him in Jesus Christ.
The Character I Want to Cultivate
If I love money, I will not be satisfied with money; if I love abundance, I will not be satisfied with its increase. (Ecclesiastes 5:10) Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. But I will flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9–11)
Take a moment to ask the Lord for the grace to grow in godly character.

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, I pray that You, Lord of the harvest, will send out workers into Your harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; Luke 10:2) You say to me, O Lord, “Behold, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are white for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages and gathers fruit for eternal life, that those who sow and those who reap may rejoice together.” (John 4:35–36)
