The Attributes of God
O God, will You indeed dwell on earth? Heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You. (1 Kings 8:27)
O God, You sit enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. You stretch out the heavens like a curtain and spread them out like a tent to dwell in. You reduce rulers to nothing and make the judges of this world meaningless. (Isaiah 40:22–23)

The Works of God
You will magnify Yourself and sanctify Yourself, and You will make Yourself known in the sight of many nations, and they will know that You are the Lord. (Ezekiel 38:23)
The earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory, O Lord, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)
Take a moment to consider the greatness of God’s wonderful works.
My Relationship to God
O God, You are my refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore I will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains slip into the heart of the sea.
(Psalm 46:1–2)
I will not fear, for You are with me; I will not be dismayed, for You are my God. You will strengthen me and help me; You will uphold me with Your righteous right hand. For You are the Lord my God; You take hold of my right hand and say to me, “Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:10, 13)
Pause to thank God for the relationship that you enjoy with Him in Jesus Christ.
The Character I Want to Cultivate
To fear You, O Lord, is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
(Proverbs 1:7)
Lord, You give wisdom; From Your mouth come knowledge and understanding. You store up sound wisdom for the upright; You are a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of the just and protecting the way of Your saints. Then I will understand righteousness and justice and honesty—every good path, for wisdom will enter my heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to my soul. Discretion will protect me, and understanding will guard me. (Proverbs 2:6–11)
Take a moment to ask the Lord for the grace to grow in godly character.
My Relationship To Others
As I give, it will be given to me; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into my lap. For with the measure I use, it will be measured back to me. (Luke 6:38)
Those who sow sparingly will also reap sparingly, and those who sow bountifully will also reap bountifully. We should give as we have decided in our hearts, not reluctantly or under compulsion; for You, O God, love a cheerful giver. And You are able to make all grace abound to us, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, we may abound in every good work. As it is written: “He has scattered abroad His gifts to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now You, the One who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will also supply and increase our seed and will increase the fruits of our righteousness. (2 Corinthians 9:6–10)Pause to review your relationships with others and to commit them to the Lord.
